This series aims to connect practicioners and other researchers with practice-focused research on selected topics relating to family-school community partnerships.
Family School Community Partnership monograph series commenced in 2001 under the leadership and support of international researchers in this field of study and practice. The purpose is to connect research and practice. The outstanding leaders in various aspects provided their insights to this initial volume. Their intent was to provide practitioners and other researchers with the practices on a selected topic that were supported by sound research. Since 2001, the editorial board develops an annual edition that brings together research and practice on a topic of current interest. The American Educational Research Association honored the Series Editor with the award for outstanding writing, translating research to practitioner-use language for the first three volumes.
This practitioner-focused writing of research to practices continues as the hallmark of these volumes. Past monographs include such topics as practices across the continents, father engagement, community engagement, faith-based education, early education, charter schools, and mental health. The editorial board is eager for suggestions from the international field for future topics and submission of work that connects research to family-school-community practices in at any educational level and across the globe.
