Comparative and International Education is a dynamic and growing field facing extraordinary challenges in every corner of the world. World Education Patterns in the Global South surveys the educational responses and new educational landscapes being developed as a consequence of the powerful global forces that are demanding change within the Global South’s educational contexts, including Central and South-East Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean,.

C. C. Wolhuter is Comparative and International Education Professor at North-West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa. He is the author of several articles in the fields of History of Education and Comparative and International Education and has been visiting professor at several universities including Brock University, Ontario, Canada; Mount Union University, Ohio, United States of America; University of Crete, Greece; University of Queensland, Australia.

Alexander W. Wiseman is Professor of Educational Leadership & Policy in the College of Education at Texas Tech University, USA. Dr. Wiseman is a leader in comparative and international education research and policy and serves as the editor of the Annual Review of Comparative and International Education.
