Nataša Lacković is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences at Lancaster University, UK. Her research investigates how emerging technologies and communication media — including diverse visual and multimodal artefacts, digital platforms, and generative AI — are transforming knowledge, learning, and practices in education and society. She is an educational scientist and philosopher, innovator, semiotician, and international leader in visual and multimodal approaches and methods in higher education.
Malcolm Tight is Professor of Higher Education at Lancaster University, UK, having previously worked at the University of Warwick, Birkbeck College London and the Open University. He is author/editor of 56 books, author of 148 articles and chapters, and author of 24 other publications on higher education and related fields.
