Chapter 1. An Introduction to Technology and Leadership Intersections; Richard Bakken
Dr. Richard Bakken has served in leadership roles at Stanford University, Princeton University, San Diego State University, and Wisconsin Lutheran College, and at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where he is currently the Chief Information Officer. He has served in this role since 2023. His responsibilities include overseeing technology applications and systems that support students, faculty, and staff within the School. Rich is a Graduate Instructor in the MPS Psychology of Leadership program for the Pennsylvania State University World Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego, a M.A.Ed. degree from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Wisconsin Lutheran College.
