Research in Law and Economics

Research in Law and Economics (RLE) publishes interdisciplinary research at the intersection of law and economics, encouraging submissions that apply economic theory, econometrics, simulations, and experiments to assess the impact of legal principles, cases, regulations, and emerging technologies. The Editors also welcome well-written articles that use law-and-economics reasoning in clear, accessible language. Founded in 1976, RLE has published numerous influential and widely cited works. It upholds the highest scholarly standards with all submissions undergoing a refereed review process. The journal seeks to publish international research that is accessible to practicing lawyers, economic consultants, regulators, and academics in both law and economics.
