As the Fourth Industrial Revolution reshapes the global landscape, this timely volume presents cutting-edge research at the intersection of technology, business, and society. It explores how emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—are transforming industries, organisational practices, and everyday life. Through a blend of theoretical inquiry and practical case studies, Business and Society in the Fourth Industrial Revolution examines how innovation can be harnessed to address complex global challenges, while also interrogating the ethical, structural, and societal implications of rapid technological change.

The chapters span conceptual analysis, qualitative interviews, virtual ethnography, archival research, and case studies. The book’s focus is diverse, from children's online privacy to multi-agent market dynamics, from employee moral disengagement to enterprise AI deployment.

This collection is essential reading for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers seeking to navigate and shape the future of business and society in an era defined by digital transformation.
